Account Settings

Manage your SimpleChat profile, preferences, and account information.

Accessing Account Settings
  1. Click your profile icon (top right)
  2. Select Profile
  3. Navigate through settings tabs
Profile InformationPersonal Details

Update your information:

  • Full Name - Display name
  • Email - Login and notifications
  • Company Name - Organization name
  • Phone - Optional contact
Updating Profile
  1. Go to Profile > Account
  2. Edit fields
  3. Click Save Changes
Profile Picture
  1. Click on avatar
  2. Upload new image
  3. Crop if needed
  4. Save
Language & RegionDashboard Language

Choose from:

  • English
  • Turkish (Türkçe)
  • German (Deutsch)
  • French (Français)
  • Spanish (Español)
  • Arabic (العربية)
  • Russian (Русский)

To change:

  1. Go to Profile > Language
  2. Select language
  3. Dashboard refreshes automatically
Timezone

Set your timezone for:

  • Conversation timestamps
  • Analytics reports
  • Working hours
  • Scheduled features
AppearanceTheme

Choose your theme:

  • Light - Bright background
  • Dark - Dark background
  • System - Follows OS setting
Density
  • Comfortable - More spacing
  • Compact - Tighter layout
Notification SettingsEmail Notifications

Configure what emails you receive:

  • New conversations
  • Daily summary
  • Weekly reports
  • Product updates
  • Security alerts
Browser Notifications

Enable for real-time alerts:

  1. Go to Profile > Notifications
  2. Toggle browser notifications
  3. Allow when browser prompts
Security SettingsChange Password
  1. Go to Profile > Security
  2. Click Change Password
  3. Enter current password
  4. Enter new password (twice)
  5. Click Update Password

Password Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • One uppercase letter
  • One number
  • One special character
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Add extra security:

  1. Go to Profile > Security
  2. Click Enable 2FA
  3. Scan QR with authenticator app
  4. Enter verification code
  5. Save backup codes
Active Sessions

View and manage sessions:

  1. Go to Profile > Security
  2. See all active sessions
  3. Click Sign Out on any session
  4. Or Sign Out All for all devices
Data & PrivacyExport Your Data

Download all your data:

  1. Go to Profile > Privacy
  2. Click Export Data
  3. Choose format (JSON/CSV)
  4. Download when ready
Delete Account

Permanently delete your account:

  1. Go to Profile > Privacy
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Enter password to confirm
  4. Type "DELETE" to confirm
  5. Account deleted within 24 hours

Warning: This cannot be undone. All bots and data will be permanently deleted.

Connected AccountsGoogle Sign-In

If you signed up with Google:

  • Account linked automatically
  • Can't disconnect if only login method
  • Add password first if needed
Adding Password to Google Account
  1. Go to Profile > Security
  2. Click Set Password
  3. Create a password
  4. Now can login with email/password too
