The Advanced section contains technical configuration options and critical management actions.

Your widget's unique URL:
- Format:
https://bot_xxx.w.simplechat.bot - Used for embedding
- Cannot be changed
Your bot's unique identifier:
- Format:
bot_xxx - Used in API calls
- Referenced in embed code
The Telegram group where messages are sent:
- Format:
-100xxxxxxxxxx - Negative number starting with -100
- Set during bot creation
To change your support group:
- Create new Telegram group
- Add @SimpleChatSaasBot as admin
- Get the new Group ID
- Update in Advanced settings
- Save changes
Warning: Changing groups may disrupt ongoing conversations.
If using your own Telegram bot:
- Enter the token from @BotFather
- Keep this secret
- Never share publicly
Configure automatic widget opening:
- Delay: Seconds before opening
- Once per session: Only open once
- Disabled: Never auto-open
Enable message sounds:
- New message sound
- Agent reply sound
- Can be muted by user
- Full-screen on mobile
- Keyboard handling
- Viewport adjustments
Permanently delete this bot:
- Click Delete Bot
- Type bot name to confirm
- Click Permanently Delete
What happens:
- Bot is immediately deactivated
- Widget stops working
- All conversations deleted
- Cannot be undone
Before deleting:
- Export any needed data
- Remove embed code from website
- Inform your team
Temporarily disable without deleting:
- Widget shows offline message
- Data preserved
- Can reactivate anytime
Current widget version:
- Auto-updates enabled
- Version history available
- Changelog in updates
For developers:
- Bot ID for API calls
- Webhook URL (if configured)
- API documentation link
Test your widget:
- Click Preview in top bar
- Opens widget in new tab
- Shows debug info (dev console)
If widget isn't updating:
- Clear browser cache
- Hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R)
- Check for console errors
Click Go Live to apply advanced settings.
