Working Hours Configuration

Control when your chat widget is available with working hours settings. Show different messages or hide the widget outside business hours.
- Open Bot Studio
- Scroll to Working Hours section
- Expand to see all options
Toggle the Enable Working Hours switch to activate scheduling.
When disabled:
- Widget is always visible
- No time-based restrictions
When enabled:
- Widget follows your schedule
- Shows offline message outside hours
When your support day begins:
- Format: HH:MM (24-hour)
- Example: 09:00 for 9 AM
When your support day ends:
- Format: HH:MM (24-hour)
- Example: 18:00 for 6 PM
Select your business timezone:
- Choose from dropdown
- All major timezones available
- Widget converts to visitor's local time display
Message shown outside working hours:
Default:
"We're currently offline. Leave a message and we'll get back to you!"
Best Practices:
- Acknowledge they're outside hours
- Offer alternative (leave message, email)
- Set expectation for response time
Examples:
- "Our team is offline. We'll respond within 24 hours."
- "Thanks for visiting! We're back at 9 AM EST."
- "Leave your question and we'll answer when we return."
Choose what happens outside hours:
Option 1: Show with Offline Message
- Widget remains visible
- Users can still leave messages
- Offline message displayed
Option 2: Hide Widget
- Widget completely hidden
- No chat option available
- Cleaner but less accessible
Premium plans can set different hours per day:

To test your configuration:
- Set times that include current time
- Verify widget appears normally
- Change times to exclude current time
- Verify offline message appears
- Reset to your actual hours
- Start: 09:00
- End: 17:00
- Timezone: Your local
- Start: 08:00
- End: 22:00
- Good for e-commerce
- Disable working hours
