Subscription Management

Manage your SimpleChat subscription, upgrade or downgrade plans, and handle billing cycles.

Subscription OverviewViewing Your Subscription
  1. Go to Profile > Billing
  2. See current plan details
  3. View next billing date
  4. Check payment history
Subscription Status
  • Active - Subscription is running
  • Trialing - In free trial period
  • Past Due - Payment failed
  • Canceled - Subscription ended
  • Paused - Temporarily suspended
Plan ChangesUpgrading Your Plan

To upgrade from Basic to Premium:

  1. Go to Profile > Billing
  2. Click Upgrade Plan
  3. Select Premium
  4. Choose payment method
  5. Confirm upgrade

What happens:

  • Immediate access to Premium features
  • Prorated billing for current period
  • New rate starts next billing cycle
Downgrading Your Plan

To downgrade from Premium to Basic:

  1. Go to Profile > Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select Basic
  4. Confirm downgrade

What happens:

  • Premium features until current period ends
  • Basic features from next billing cycle
  • No refund for remaining Premium time
Billing CyclesMonthly Billing
  • Charged on the same date each month
  • Price: As per plan (e.g., $9/month)
  • Cancel anytime
Annual Billing
  • Pay for 12 months upfront
  • Get 2 months free (16% savings)
  • One-time annual charge
Changing Billing Cycle

To switch from monthly to annual:

  1. Go to Billing settings
  2. Click Switch to Annual
  3. Pay annual amount (minus current month credit)
  4. Enjoy savings!
Payment ManagementUpdating Payment Method
  1. Go to Profile > Billing
  2. Click Payment Methods
  3. Add new card or crypto wallet
  4. Set as default
  5. Remove old payment method (optional)
Failed Payments

If payment fails:

  1. You'll receive email notification
  2. We'll retry automatically
  3. Update payment method if needed
  4. Service continues for grace period
Grace Period
  • 7 days to resolve payment issues
  • Full access during grace period
  • Service pauses after grace period
  • Resume by updating payment
CancellationHow to Cancel
  1. Go to Profile > Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Select reason (optional)
  4. Confirm cancellation
What Happens
  • Access continues until period ends
  • Data retained for 30 days
  • Can reactivate anytime
  • No further charges
Reactivating

To restart subscription:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Go to Billing
  3. Click Reactivate
  4. Choose plan and payment
  5. Immediate access restored
RefundsRefund Policy
  • Within 7 days - Full refund available
  • After 7 days - Prorated credit
  • Annual plans - First 30 days full refund
Requesting Refund
  1. Contact support@simplechat.bot
  2. Include order/invoice number
  3. Explain reason
  4. Receive response within 48 hours
Invoices & ReceiptsAccessing Invoices
  1. Go to Profile > Billing
  2. Click Billing History
  3. View all invoices
  4. Download PDF receipts
Invoice Details

Each invoice includes:

  • Invoice number
  • Date and period
  • Plan details
  • Payment method (last 4 digits)
  • Amount paid
  • Tax information (if applicable)
