Subscription Management

Manage your SimpleChat subscription, upgrade or downgrade plans, and handle billing cycles.
- Go to Profile > Billing
- See current plan details
- View next billing date
- Check payment history
- Active - Subscription is running
- Trialing - In free trial period
- Past Due - Payment failed
- Canceled - Subscription ended
- Paused - Temporarily suspended
To upgrade from Basic to Premium:
- Go to Profile > Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Select Premium
- Choose payment method
- Confirm upgrade
What happens:
- Immediate access to Premium features
- Prorated billing for current period
- New rate starts next billing cycle
To downgrade from Premium to Basic:
- Go to Profile > Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select Basic
- Confirm downgrade
What happens:
- Premium features until current period ends
- Basic features from next billing cycle
- No refund for remaining Premium time
- Charged on the same date each month
- Price: As per plan (e.g., $9/month)
- Cancel anytime
- Pay for 12 months upfront
- Get 2 months free (16% savings)
- One-time annual charge
To switch from monthly to annual:
- Go to Billing settings
- Click Switch to Annual
- Pay annual amount (minus current month credit)
- Enjoy savings!
- Go to Profile > Billing
- Click Payment Methods
- Add new card or crypto wallet
- Set as default
- Remove old payment method (optional)
If payment fails:
- You'll receive email notification
- We'll retry automatically
- Update payment method if needed
- Service continues for grace period
- 7 days to resolve payment issues
- Full access during grace period
- Service pauses after grace period
- Resume by updating payment
- Go to Profile > Billing
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Select reason (optional)
- Confirm cancellation
- Access continues until period ends
- Data retained for 30 days
- Can reactivate anytime
- No further charges
To restart subscription:
- Log into your account
- Go to Billing
- Click Reactivate
- Choose plan and payment
- Immediate access restored
- Within 7 days - Full refund available
- After 7 days - Prorated credit
- Annual plans - First 30 days full refund
- Contact support@simplechat.bot
- Include order/invoice number
- Explain reason
- Receive response within 48 hours
- Go to Profile > Billing
- Click Billing History
- View all invoices
- Download PDF receipts
Each invoice includes:
- Invoice number
- Date and period
- Plan details
- Payment method (last 4 digits)
- Amount paid
- Tax information (if applicable)
For larger organizations:
- Custom bot limits
- Dedicated support
- SLA guarantees
- Volume discounts
