Dashboard Overview

Your SimpleChat dashboard is your command center for managing bots, viewing conversations, and analyzing performance. This guide walks you through every section.

Dashboard Layout

The dashboard is organized into several key areas:

Left Sidebar

The sidebar provides quick access to main sections:

  1. Dashboard - Overview and quick stats
  2. Settings - Manage your bots
  3. Conversations - View and manage chats (when a bot is selected)
  4. Statistics - Analytics and reports (when a bot is selected)
  5. Profile - Account settings
Top Bar
  • Bot Selector - Switch between bots (if you have multiple)
  • Search - Find conversations and settings
  • Language Switcher - Change dashboard language
  • Notifications - System alerts and updates
Bot Cards

Your bots appear as cards on the Settings page:

Card Information
  • Bot Name - The name you gave your bot
  • Bot URL - The widget URL
  • Status Badge - Current subscription status

Badge Meaning
🎁 Free Trial Using 7-day trial
⚡ Basic Active Basic subscription
💎 Premium Active Premium subscription
📝 Draft Payment pending
🔕 Cancelled Subscription cancelled
⏰ Expired Subscription expired
Bot Actions

Hover over a bot card to see:

  • Preview - Open widget in new tab
  • Edit - Open Bot Studio
Bot Selector (Multiple Bots)

If you have more than one bot:

  1. Click the bot selector dropdown (top left)
  2. Choose the bot you want to manage
  3. The sidebar updates to show that bot's options

Note: The bot selector only appears when you have 2+ bots.

Quick Actions

From the dashboard, you can quickly:

  1. Create a new bot - Click "+ Create Bot"
  2. Open Bot Studio - Click any bot card
  3. View conversations - Navigate to Conversations
  4. Get embed code - In Bot Studio > "Get Code"
Keyboard Shortcuts

Navigate faster with these shortcuts:

The dashboard is fully responsive:
