Bot Studio Overview

Bot Studio is your all-in-one customization center for your SimpleChat widget. Here you can change colors, messages, behaviors, and see a live preview of your changes.
- Go to Settings in the sidebar
- Click on any bot card
- Bot Studio opens in full-screen mode
Bot Studio has a three-part layout:
- Back Button - Return to bot list
- Bot Name - Current bot being edited
- Reset - Reset all settings to defaults
- Get Code - Copy embed code
- Go Live - Publish your changes
Settings are organized into collapsible sections:
- Look & Feel

- AI Bot (Premium)

Customize the visual appearance:
- Widget title (open/closed states)
- Skin/theme selection
- Primary color
- Widget dimensions
- Bot emoji
Configure the conversation flow:
- Tab label and emoji
- Introduction message
- Conversation flow builder
- Routing message
Configure the AI assistant tab:
- Tab label and emoji
- AI introduction message
Train your AI assistant:
- Business description
- Target audience
- Goals
- Tone and style
- Language preferences
- Q&A examples
Set availability times:
- Enable/disable scheduling
- Start and end times
- Timezone selection
- Offline message
GDPR and privacy settings:
- Cookie consent banner
- Privacy policy link
- Consent message
Technical and management settings:
- Bot URL
- Telegram group ID
- Danger zone (delete bot)
The right side shows a real-time preview:
- Changes appear instantly
- Toggle between open/closed states
- Test interaction (non-functional demo)
- See how it looks on different skins
Your changes are not live until you publish:
- Make your customizations
- See the orange dot on "Go Live" (indicates unsaved changes)
- Click Go Live to publish
- Confirmation appears when successful
If you try to leave with unsaved changes:
- Modal appears asking to save
- Options: Publish & Exit, Discard, Cancel
- Match your brand - Use your brand colors
- Keep messages short - Users scan, not read
- Test on mobile - Preview works like mobile
- Use emojis sparingly - They add personality
- Publish often - Save your work regularly
